Baby Flower
Some would ask why give a new baby a flower. The thought is ludicrous however; rarely does a new born baby receive anything that he or she will appreciate. When giving a baby flower think about what the mother would like. She has been through a lot and the house is probably not in the kind of shape that she would like. A lovely bouquet of flowers will go a long way to show you congratulations.
Easter
Easter is not always thought of as a time to give flowers however, it can be the perfect time to surprise someone. Easter is associated with spring and rebirth so it is often a good idea to give a potted Easter flower. That way the recipient can plant the flowers a in a few weeks and enjoy it year around. If the person receiving the gift is not going to plant the flowers try to find a bouquet of pastel colored Easter Flowers.
Funeral Sympathy Flower
Giving a sympathy flower for a funeral is never pleasant because of the hurt and agony associated with the passing of a friend or family member. When giving a funeral flower or sympathy flower make sure to find out where to have them delivered. Usually funeral flowers are delivered to the funeral home or the mortuary where the services will be held. However, sometimes the family will want them brought to the home instead. Just remember to find out first and have them deliver early. As a side note, be sure to buy flower that are elegant and beautiful not flashy and bright.
Thanksgiving Flower
Almost no one think of flower in connection with Thanksgiving. Think about what Thanksgiving is all about. Thanksgiving is a time for showing gratitude. What better way to show gratitude to someone than with a bouquet of flowers. A poinsettia is a great choice because it can be kept until Christmas. However, any kind of flower can given as a Thanksgiving flower. Just remember to make it special to the person that is receiving the flowers.
Flowers really can be given at all occasions and to express almost any emotion. Most flowers will work well for any occasion and anybody. The more extravagant and exotic the flower the more judgment is needed to make it work. If all else fails ask a florist they will be able to help make a decision.
